HELP US RAISE £10,000 for Teachers Across Borders to run workshops in Cambodia in 2010

Join Sue and Ken Slater as they drive in a convoy of six classic MGs along the legendary, history-studded leg of the Silk Road stretching from Beijing to London.

Commencing in Beijing in April and roaring into London by July, their 22,000 kilometer (13,700 mile) journey will take them through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, and France. And all along the way, they'll be spreading the word about The PEACE Fund via a custom decal emblazoned on the side of their classic ride. It will share space with a similar decal for Teachers Across Borders (TAB) Australia, of which the Slaters are members and the PEACE Fund has been a steady supporter.

And that's where YOU come in -- The PEACE Fund invites its individual and corporate supporters to sponsor specific days of the 'Silk Road' journey to help us help TAB Australia continue its important work. Both Ken and Sue have Life Member status with TAB Australia.

Australians Sue & Ken Slater are making The PEACE Fund's 'E' for 'Everywhere' a truly mobile affair

YOU can be a part of the trip by sponsoring a single day or days or a set number of kilometres that the Slaters drive. Why not get your family, friends or classroom involved and don't forget you can keep up with the journey via Sue’s blog.

In addition, we are also hoping that people will be able to meet up with the convey if it journeys anywhere close!
